Meet Our Team

Megan Spindel Thomas,

Megan Spindel Thomas joined Medical Art Resources, Inc. in 2010 after completing her master’s degree coursework and clinical internship at the University of Illinois Chicago in biomedical visualization. Julie hired Megan before she had time to finish her thesis after seeing her exceptional work. Her thesis project involved the development of a computer-based learning module focusing on color science and application in anaplastology, with the goal of making educational materials more accessible to future anaplastologists.

Megan successfully passed The Board for Certification in Clinical Anaplastology (BCCA) examination in 2014 and has been awarded Certification in Clinical Anaplastology.

Megan is a gifted artist—mastering sculpting and color matching skin with ease. Our patients enjoy her gentle demeanor and technical mastery. Megan is currently serving as Treasurer of the International Anaplastology Association and contributed to the first Oto-Art fundraiser, which raised money in support of the Walter Spohn Educational Fund. Megan also serves on the Walter Spohn Educational Fund board.

A native of West Virginia, Megan has loved exploring Milwaukee and making it her home. She enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors, and hopes to bring her newfound interest in rock climbing outside of the gym soon.
