First-ever Ear Community Picnic in Wisconsin!

This past weekend we attended the Wisconsin Ear Community Microtia and Atresia Summer Family Picnic in the Wisconsin Dells. It was a great opportunity for children and adults to network with one another as well as learn more about treatment options for microtia from surgeons, anaplastologists and hearing specialists. Kids enjoyed an amazing face-painter, a magician and balloon animals. We had a blast helping children with our own craft project–making molds and then models of their fingers. One little guy liked the process so much that he came back a second time! Special thanks to Ashley and Brody Henke and Family for organizing the event and to sponsors Oticon, Cochlear Americas and Medtronic.

  • So happy everyone enjoyed the Ear Community Organization’s summer picnic for Microtia and Atresia families! Thank you for being a part of our wonderful day! – Melissa, Ear Community

Thanks, Melissa! We’re so happy we could be there and it was very nice to meet Ashley and her family and the other picnic attendees.
