Roger Ebert gives his new facial prosthesis two thumbs up®

Julie Jordan Brown created a facial prosthesis for film critic, Roger Ebert in collaboration with prosthetist David Rotter. Ebert’s jaw was removed due to cancer and he now lives cancer-free.

Reconstructive surgery was attempted, but unfortunately failed. David and Julie worked together to create a prosthesis that provides support and restores facial contour. Ebert’s prosthesis debuted on his new television program, Roger Ebert Presents At the Movies.
