Life-like Prosthetics
Medical Art Resources works with patients who are missing part of the face or body due to cancer surgery, traumatic injury, or birth difference, to create exceptionally life-like custom prostheses. We also work with health care professionals and can answer your questions about life-like reconstructive prostheses and the specific needs of your patients.
We specialize in custom life-like facial prosthetics for the ear (auricular or ear prosthesis), eye and eyelids (ocular and orbital prosthesis), and nose (nasal prosthesis); as well as prosthetic fingers and hands, prosthetic toes, and custom prosthetic nipples. If you are an athlete looking for a protective face mask, Medical Art Resources also offers custom faceguard solutions to get you back in your game!

“Other health care professionals I come into contact with are always amazed to find out that I wear a prosthesis. It looks so real to them and they always ask where the prosthesis was made and who made it. That says it all!”

Why Choose Us
We live by the motto, “Every Detail Matters.” Every detail is crucial for a prosthesis that must blend with surrounding anatomy. We selectively incorporate new materials and use the latest technology to ensure the highest quality prosthesis. We are experts in craniofacial bone-anchored implants and approach each patient with a focus on your individual needs.
Our team has helped more than a thousand patients experience a sense of well-being and self-assurance that comes from restored appearance.
Healthcare Professionals
Call us with your questions about life-like reconstructive prostheses and the specific needs of your patients. We are eager to work as collaborative partners with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other health care providers to optimize prosthetic treatment for your patients.
Getting Started
If you are considering prosthetic care, you will likely want to explore all of your options. We welcome you to meet with us in our Milwaukee or Madison, Wisconsin office for a new patient consultation and evaluation at no cost to you. Appointments are also available for an initial consultation in several satellite locations.
You will meet with one of our clinical anaplastologists who will listen to your concerns, examine your affected anatomy, and show you examples of prostheses. Our anaplastologist will describe your options for prosthetic attachment and will develop a treatment plan for you.
If you are unable to meet with our clinical team in person, we can schedule a brief evaluation via Facetime or Skype. If you are not comfortable with a video meeting, you can provide us with photos and schedule a phone meeting.
